Sherpa Nomad Trek Pvt. Ltd is a trekking and adventure company registered with the government, fully compliant with all legal requirements. It serves as the parent organization for Himalayan Trekking Path Pvt. Ltd and is in the process of launching Sherpa Nomad Pvt. Ltd, which aims to provide premium services at competitive prices. Booking any trip to Nepal, Tibet, or Bhutan through us guarantees a high-quality package, updated itineraries, expert guidance, impeccable hospitality, authenticity, and affordability. Below are the terms and conditions of our company to ensure your trip is easy, safe, and hassle-free with local experts. This helps to understand our establishment properly.
Booking Confirmation:
After completing your booking through our website, WhatsApp, email, or other channels, please send the passport copies of each traveler. A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to confirm your booking. Once we receive the deposit, your booking is officially confirmed. After the deposit and legal documents are received, no further confirmation is necessary; this indicates that your booking is already in process. This is why we strive to provide the easiest booking experience possible.
Cancellation Policy
Once a trip in Nepal is confirmed, cancellations are not typically accepted, except under specific circumstances. If clients choose to cancel their trip, the 10% deposit is non-refundable, as per the established legal and official guidelines. Should any circumstances disrupt your current plans, we are more than willing to consider rescheduling the trip for a future date. We seek genuine bookings from clients who trust us and appreciate the reputation of our establishment. We avoid cancellations as they negatively impact our company's reputation and our relationships with local partners. We kindly request that you think carefully about your decision 100 times before finalizing your booking. Trust yourself in your decision-making process.
Payment Terms:
A trip confirmation and the official booking process will commence once we receive a 10% deposit. The remaining balance can be settled when you meet our team in Kathmandu or Pokhara. The full amount must be cleared before the trip begins. Sherpa Nomad Trek Pvt. Ltd. provides various payment options for the balance, including cash, card, and bank transfer. Please be aware that if you choose to pay by card, an additional 3.5% Nepali bank charge will apply on top of the total amount.
Refundable Condition:
Sherpa Nomad Trek Pvt. Ltd is a highly professional team specializing in trekking and climbing throughout Nepal, as well as inbound and outbound trips to Tibet and Bhutan. Generally, refunds are not a common practice in our holiday adventure packages due to the numerous arrangements that need to be made before the trip's commencement. However, if the weather is unfavorable and the trip cannot be completed, or if any health issues arise that prevent the completion of the trip, we can offer alternative packages. If these situations do not occur, we can refund your unused funds for accommodation and meals; however, fees for guides, porters, and permits are non-refundable.
Safety and security:
Our top priority is ensuring safe travel, and we have designed the itinerary and package based on the principles of safety and security. We employ a professional local guide who is always attentive to the health conditions of our clients and the safety of their belongings. Once we receive the passport and other details, we store them securely and guarantee they will not be misused. Our guide will treat you like a friend or family member, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free trip to the Himalayas. We provide daily briefings on what to do and how to prepare for each day. If any symptoms of AMS arise, we take them very seriously and manage the situation according to the condition. Therefore, Sherpa Nomad Trek Pvt. Ltd is always committed to providing the safety and security you can rely on every step of your journey.
Travel Insurance:
While travel insurance is not mandatory for visiting Nepal, it is essential for emergencies. It is advisable to obtain suitable travel insurance before embarking on your trek and climbing activities. Depending on your destination and altitude, you should secure insurance that includes coverage for those elevations to ensure your safety. The insurance should encompass medical and evacuation services. Please note that the cost of the client's insurance is not included in the package price.
